Doing the neighbourly thing: helping construct a 3,500 square metre warehouse.

While Lattey Group tackle many kinds of projects throughout the central and lower North Island, one recent precast job was very much closer to home  - in fact, just across the street!

United Steel are suppliers of reinforcing steel, steel mesh and structural steel to the New Zealand building industry. They also happen to be our neighbour in Roe Street, Levin. 

So we did the neighbourly thing and helped them to build their new 3,500 square metre warehouse. Our Levin precast plant supplied 52 panels for the build, the largest of which was over 12 metres high and weighed 19,000kg. Lifting this in place required some serious skills and a 220 tonne mobile crane.
